I played soccer 10 months out of the year for the first 18 years of my life. I grew to hate the sport because of simply being burnt out and my love for hockey. Not trying to start an argument but watching guys take pieces of vulcanized rubber traveling at 100 mph to the face only to continue playing makes soccer look worse than ballet.
And yet I'm still watching the World Cup over 24LM. WHY???
Cars are my life, I live, eat, sleep, and dream cars. But I tried streaming it earlier and all I see are spaceships that produce no sound. I know they do, but the LM site stream cuts all of the car audio and replaces it with useless commentary from two brits who are just referring to the same LM24 app that I have access to for information about the race. Earlier one of them said something to the effect of "hold on, I'll let you guys know what the safety car situation is after my app updates."
Come on!!! That's insanely fucking amateur. I'd love to get in to the LM24, but I just can't. I've learned to love NASCAR (something that I'd once swore to never watch) because they let you hear these sweet V8s RIPPING at 200mph through a banked corner. Racing is such a visceral experience and sound is a massive part of that. I want to hear these cars (that are the pinnacle of their company's tech achievements). The coverage is just awful. At one point I had the view from inside the same Audi etron for 20 minutes.

I agree with you, I'm doing the same. I watched for a bit, but its just pretty boring between the first and last hour. But I will never get into NASCAR. Tried to many time lol.

To each is own, I totally get why most people don't enjoy NASCAR. I don't really watch it most of the year except for the big races.

Fuck the official Le Mans feed. I'm watching the far superior Euro Sport feed (listening to rhesus monkeys screaming and throw their feces at each other while watching a back bencher LMP2 in car camera with no sound is far superior to the official feed) while I wait for FS1 to pick up coverage again later on tonight.

Yeah, I can understand why people like it I just don't. I have been thinking about going to the race at Sonoma this month though to check it out.
